Having successfully raised £34,000 for a New Minibus we have some incredible fundraisers planned for the year in the effort to raise funds for New Table Tennis tables
and smaller school projects.
We had an outstanding Grammar Christmas Fair, family/ parent evenings, second hand uniform sales and more! In the coming terms we have a Chocolate Bingo night, Rain or Shine theatre, Sports day refreshments and so much more. Read how you can support us and get involved....

SECOND HAND UNIFORM - DONATIONS NEEDED PLEASE
The BWSPA is holds second-hand uniform sales regularly in the BWS uniform shop, which can be accessed from North Walk in the Cathedral close. There is no parking on the school site but there are various car parks nearby.
No need to make an appointment just turn up! Watch for next dates (second Saturday each half term). 3 May, 14 June & Year 7 Induction day 2 July.
Location: Number 11 building. Access via The Cathedral Close via Exeter street gate (no parking available).
Payment by cash or card.
This is where we store our uniform and books so there is limited space. Please be prepared to queue.

BWSPA Website
Bishop Wordsworth’s School Parents’ Association raises money for facilities and extras that just aren’t possible within tight school budgets. Over the last few years, we bought a minibus for the school, and paid for outdoor table tennis tables and basketball hoops.
We also promote social events for pupils and parents such as Year 7 skittles, open air theatre, Quiz Nights, Fathers & Sons / Mother & Sons events etc.
We ran a joint Christmas Fair with Friends of SWGS which was a HUGE SUCCESS celebrating our ongoing relationship with our wider school communities.
This website has been launched to assist in the execution of our ONLINE FUNDRAISING EVENTS, to assist in the administration of our 1000 Club and will eventually be a central point for coordination of our Second Hand Uniform shop.
